My EyeEarn.com Experience Part 6.0

I've just taken a look at my Commission Report and I must say that I am REALLY not pleased with it.

Take a look:

I mean after being EA for 3 consecutive months and expecting an income that justify the expense, I felt that I'm being duped!

I mean, where's the Powerline Income?

Of course, I am going to go thru SFI's website and find out what went wrong and how do I improve on my earnings.

In the meantime, it is making me think twice to pursue being an IAHBE member where I have to pay USD$29.95 per month, just so that I get to become EA every month!

Think about it, would a sane businessman continue paying more than he is getting from a business venture? I think not!

A few days ago, I just came across a programme that enables me to earn perhaps USD$15.00 per month and I know how to increase or double that amount.

More on that later and now I want to investigate 2 things:
  1. How come I am not earning more that USD$30.00 from SFI even though I am an EA and
  2. How do I still remain an EA without spending USD$30.00 being an IAHBE member.
Till the next post!

My EyeEarn.com Experience Part 5.0

I was "surfinabout" in SFI after giving a Gift Certificate to one of my SFI Affiliates when the thought occurred to me: why would anyone want to be an Executive Affiliate(EA) in SFI.

This thought came up after I was going through my emails and I got one from "K".

I was pleasantly surprised after getting an email from my SFI Affiliate (which I will be calling her "K" to protect her identity), because so far to date, none of my affiliates writes any email to me to ask me about their Gift Certificate.

Even though, I have mentioned it in their Welcome Email from their SFI Sponsor that they need to write an email to me if they want to get their SFI Gift Certificate.

Now, this makes me wonder if I am behaving responsibly or otherwise, because as their sponsor, it is in my best interest that if they become successful in SFI, I will too. As my success is tied to theirs.

I am thinking that even if they did write to me or not, I should just give them their Gift Certificate.

Hmmmm.....

What do you think folks? Do you think I should just give them their Gift Certificate even though they did not write an email to me?

Then, as I was processing K's Gift Certificate, I was still thinking about why I am earning so little from SFI and how do I increase it?

As I was "surfinabout", I saw this description on SFI's website:

Why should I go Executive? Or Why should I advance in rank to become Executive Affiliate?

The short answer was:

"In addition to doubling your commissions, there are NUMEROUS other income-boosting benefits to advancing in rank to Executive Affiliate—and no purchase is required!"

And if one were interested to learn more, a link was provided:

===> https://www.sfimg.com/AffiliateStore/EA.sfi

And you'll get this:

And that's where I saw the "Instantly Calculate Your Earnings" URL:

I was curious to know how much money I could earn from SFI so I clicked it and got this:

I simply filled up 2 zeros in the box provided and I got this:

$9.00 per month. This made me recall the amount of monies I was getting monthly and to date, I am earning on average $9.41 per month since April 2008!

No wonder that I am not earning much from SFI/EyeEarn.com because my affiliates have not advanced in rank to become EAs!

Now, I have a quest of finding out how to increase my income from SFI and if need be, find out how to help my affiliates become EAs and from what I have seen, there are ways to become EAs without spending any money.

Till the next post!

My EyeEarn.com Experience Part 4.0

Today, I am pleased to report that my affiliates in my care has increased to 17. That is an additional 6 people in the month of July.

Every time a new affiliate signs up under me, I am given an email notification.

Plus, if an affiliate has completed his/her Profile Notification, I will also be notified because this indicates that they are looked at as an "action-taker", and that I am encouraged to "contact John Doe and offer any assistance they might need to continue advancing in SFI.".

So far, I have only emailed out the "Upline Welcome Email" to my affiliates. I believe that I should do more for them to encourage their continued interest in SFI/EyeEarn.com.

I also wish to report that I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this message after I have logged into my SFI account:

This indicates to me that I have earned enough commissions with SFI for me to qualify for an SFI Cash Card.

This made me "jump" with excitement as I thought that I have earned a "lot" of money!!!

So I took a look at my Commissions Report and this is what I saw:

Not a lot of money folks!

I believe that my previous blog post about earning only $0.85 for the month ending May is incorrect. I think that I have earned $9.64. Please take note of that.

So, my total commissions to date (end June 2008) should be $(18.43 + 9.80) = $28.23.

That is why I qualified for SFI Cash Card because minimum amount of accumulated commissions is $20.00.

Would I apply for the SFI Cash Card?

Take a look at this:

After looking at the Fees Schedule for an SFI Cash Card, I shelved the idea and made up my mind that I will only apply when I have monthly SFI Commissions Income of more than $20.00 because I foresee that the total monthly maintenance fee (Standard+Misc) could be $7.15.

Not to mention that the initial card activation fee for me (living outside US) is $19.95. So that may amount to $(19.95 + 7.15) = $27.10.

Even if I earn $20.00 or more per month, I may still wait for an extra month or 2 first before applying for one because the fees outweighs it's usefulness.

I'd prefer to choose the "Paid To PayPal account" as that would only cost me $2.00 processing
fee. And I can use the funds in PayPal to pay or purchase stuff on the Internet.

Here are the Payment Options for SFI:

I can only see myself applying for the SFI Cash Card so that I can earn bragging rights from friends and relative that sees me using it. Other than this lame reason, I don't see myself getting it.... yet!

Perhaps if I can withdraw such an amount of money as this YouTube video shows you:

Then perhaps I'll get one immediately!!!

Till, the next post,

Cheers!

My EyeEarn.com Experience Part 3.1

There is one thing that as an EyeEarn.com member must do once a month, usually the last week of the month, in order to continue earning the alloted 'shares' from EyeEarn.com earnings.

That is to 'reactivate' one's EyeEarn.com membership.

Not that EyeEarn.com will ask you to rejoin the program by paying a nominal fee but to fill up a Reactivation Form.

I have taken the liberty to reproduce mine that I had to fill up for the month ending June 2008 so that I can continue to participate earning EyeEarn.com shares in July 2008, so that you can have an idea of what it is all about.

I'm not sure if the requirements change over time, but so far, that I have done this (twice) the requirements are similar.

One would usually get the reminder to fill up the form when you login into SFI Affiliate Center and the window of opportunity appears.

Here is the Reactivation Form that I got from EyeEarn:

I think that there is no 'right' or 'wrong' answers here but I can sense that questions 4 to 6 may be 'accountable'.

Accountable means that EyeEarn would know if you are lying or otherwise because they have your orders in their system and I think that they can estimate how much you have used up those X-Cards, or purchased items from Maxmalls.com, or how much money you have spent in the last 30 days.

I'm not sure if EyeEarn will penalize anyone who lie in their answer, but if you ask me, I prefer to tell them the truth.

For Questions 1 to 3, I don't think that EyeEarn will send a private investigator to spy on you to check if you really do what you tell them that you do.

After filling up the form and clicking on the "Proceed" button, you get to see Part 2:

I believe that this is more of a Survey type thing. I prefer to market on-line more because there are more ready buyers on-line than off-line.

Then, there is Part 3:

I believe that this is more of a promotion thing rather than an actual task that you need to do.

I have always clicked "Proceed" without reviewing any song and I always get reactivated.

Once you have do the above, you'll see this:

Which basically reminds you that the next Reactivation period will be etc. etc.

If you click the "Complete Reactivation" button, you'll see this:

If you have any questions for me, write a comment below and I'll answer you as soon as I can.

Cheers!

My EyeEarn.com Experience Part 3.0

Now I am almost to my 2nd month with EyeEarn Network and I am happy to say that I have 11 Affiliates under me.

Most important to note is whether I have earned any income from all this?

Take a look at this:

$9.64 for the month ending May.

And if you look at the table properly, I think I only earned $0.85! Right?!

Because period ending April 2008 is $8.79 and period ending May 2008 is $9.64.
That means that I earned $0.85!

That's not a lot, eh?

I wonder how with more affiliates with me, shouldn't I be getting more income?

Not if they are "helping".

If they also went ahead and really did something more than joining SFI for free, I believe that I would be earning a little more money.

So, now I am going to figure out how I can "help" my downlines earn an income for themselves because from what I see, I think that they are not earning anything.

From what I see, I think I am only earning income from the shared earnings of EyeEarn-generated affiliates programs. The way I see it, I think that SFI may not be doing very well. But I could be wrong eh?

Take a look at what SFI's EyeEarn Program Compensation Plan states:

=======
The EyeEarn compensation plan is based on two components:

1. All active EyeEarn members automatically receive one share of the total MaxMalls Sales Pool. The MaxMalls Sales Pool is 80% of the total revenues SFI receives from all of the MaxMalls.com store sales. Of the remaining 20%, 10% is donated to Save The Children and the other 10% is retained by SFI for overhead expenses. The more sales MaxMalls generates, the larger your share can become.

2. All active EyeEarn members also receive one share of all non-pre-sponsored affiliate signups generated at EyeEarn.com from our worldwide EyeEarn advertising network and co-op. For each signup you receive, you will be recorded as the SFI Sponsor and will be eligible to receive all Sponsor benefits and commissions. This includes unlimited Executive Match Commissions and unlimited Team Match Commissions (see Network Builder Program compensation plan for details).

On each of your EyeEarn-generated affiliates, you can also earn:
- Merchant Services Override Commissions
- TuneFlow Override Commissions
- NiceOffers Merchant Override Commissions
- NiceOffers Fundraisers Override Commissions"
=======

Yes, it is a little disappointing because of such meagre earnings even after 2 months. I think that some of you readers may feel that I should be doing some other program that would have earned me more money.

Should I quit SFI?

Cheers!

My EyeEarn.com Experience Part 2

After having signed up with EyeEarn Network for about a month, I got quite excited after having recruited 7 Affiliates under me. (Woo Hoo!!)

This is a far cry from having no affiliates after joining SFI since 16th September 2006!

One may wonder why is it I am having MORE success with SFI now than previously? Perhaps having made a DECISION to do well with SFI via their EyeEarn Network would be the reason.

Would I have done well if there is no EyeEarn Network? Perhaps I would still have zero affiliates under me as I saw no compulsion to do anything about it until I saw the EyeEarn Ads while surfing for credits on Traffic Swarm.

Looking back, I must be thankful for the SFI team to come out with a good system like EyeEarn.

I joined EyeEarn on 17th April 2008 (ie purchased the EyeEarn Starter Kit) but got approved on 3rd May 2008 after the photo submission.

Why so long? I stay in Malaysia and got the EyeEarn Kit on 30th April 2008 after ordering it on 17th April. And processed the photos the next day and then got them approved on 3rd May 2008.

I think that the EyeEarn people is not the one to blame; rather they are doing such a great job. I think that the problem lies in the movement of the package from USA to Malaysia.

Still, I am happy that I got the materials as I thought that Malaysia has strict Customs rules. My thoughts were wrong.

So how much money have I gotten so far?

$8.79 for the month ending April.

Here is the screen shot of my SFI Commissions report:

Now, some of you readers may be shouting words of distress as to the meagre sum of money that I have gotten. But please be patient and think about this:

I joined in mid April and only got my EyeEarn status approved in 3rd May. Shouldn't it then be that my commission amount be zero dollars?

I'm not complaining as I am happy with EyeEarn/SFI's leniency. I am looking forward to May's Commission which I hope is a lot more substantial!

Cheers!

My Initial EyeEarn.com Experience

Hi There!

I've started this blog to act as a journal to trace my progress with this new Co-op model that I've joined called EyeEarn.com.

It is relatively new, as of to date, and it promises to be the most exciting way of earning an income from the Internet via the SFI Network. Also it is a way of gathering more affiliates to join the SFI Network and thus achieve more success.

I signed up for it on 17th April 2008 and received the package, in my hands, on 30th April 2008. Roughly one week.

I was quite nervous about this because I now live in Malaysia and this is my first time I am asking an Internet Marketing company to ship their product here. I was worried that Malaysia may have a strange customs law that may not allow items to come in.

However, after having seen that my sister-in-law has successful shipments arrive at our current mailing/shipping address, I got the courage to go ahead with the order and hope for the best.

This is a snapshot of the actual packaging that EyeEarn.com uses:

The box is quite large. Something like an A3 size paper and 1.5 inches in height. It is not like what you see in the SFI website where there is this guy in blue polo shirt and jeans carrying a big box. It is just thinner. 1.5 inches thick box.

There is no distinguishable marking on the box except for the top cover/lid and it is fastened by 2, 1.5 inch clear sticky tape. Most of the data is as you see in the picture above.

On inspection of the box, it appears that the package was sent to United States Postal Service(USPS) on 22nd April 2008 from Lincoln, NE, USA, as seen by the red stamps. There is 2 of these red stamps.

There is a stamp from the Malaysia customs authorities that states that it is released by them on 28th April 2008. In Malay, Malaysian National Language, it says: "Dilepaskan Oleh Kastam" then the 'date' stamp.

My guess is that the box 'travelled' by air-mail between 22nd Apr and 28th Apr and the local postman only brought it to me on 30th Apr after having passed customs checks. I doubt that there was any physical checks done by the customs officers to the contents, as the box looks well intact and no signs of opening. Even the 2, 1.5 inches sticky tapes didn't look cut and there is no signs of re-taping.

I guess that the contents of the items in the EyeEarn.com starter kit has no "unlawful" items that could be confiscated by the authorities.

Upon opening of the cover/lid, this is what I saw inside:

There is this bunched up brown paper that acts as filler to keep the contents steady.

When I took the stuff out, what I saw was this:

1 EyeEarn T-Shirt sized Large (L).
1 large envelope. (3 EyeEarn Car Banners)
1 medium envelope. ((100) EyeEarn X-Cards)
2 strips of (20) EyeEarn Mini-Labels
4 loose documents where 1 is the detailed guide and the others are complete directions.

The loose documents looks like this:

1 EyeEarn Detailed Guide
1 Quick Start Guide
1 Custom Domain Program Form
1 Photo Submission Form

Inside the large envelope, the contents looks like this:

3 EyeEarn Car Banners that sticks to the glass windows of your car.
1 Bumper Sticker that goes on to any exterior surface of your car.

Inside the medium envelope is the 100 EyeEarn X-Cards:

After quickly going thru the EyeEarn starter kit, I quickly wore the EyeEarn T-Shirt for the Verification Photo. At first I was worried that it would be too big or too small but it fitted me very well.

I am 1.80 meters tall and weigh 100 kgs. I have not been going to the gym often enough after my daughter was born, so I have develop a belly. But the T-Shirt fitted me perfectly.

Then came the photo taking.

Thanks to my wife's help, I got 3 shots of me. One of the shots is vertical. I suggest that if you take your Verification shots, take a few of them. At least 3 or more because the online EyeEarn submission form allows you to submit 1 Required and 2 Optional. I guess this allows the EyeEarn people to choose the best ones. And make sure that they are HORIZONTAL shots!

If your pictures are too big for EyeEarn requirements, they give a website address, Resizr.com, where you can crop and/or resize your pictures. Horizontal shots are better because they are easier to crop and/or resize. Vertical shots may make you look fatter after submission.

Mine looks like this:

After that, I submitted my above picture to EyeEarn Photo Verification website on 2nd May 2008. And i got it approved by 3rd May 2008.

Alright, I guess that this is where I'll stop.

Next, I'll post what is the next things that I do that concerns EyeEarn or SFI.

Cheers!
